# Ponos > Write the ticket. It comes back done. Ponos is a harness around Claude Code that runs your tasks on your machine — code, writing, external actions, publications — on a board of its own: the web console, over a folder of Markdown files. Notion, GitHub, Telegram, Slack and OpenRouter plug in when you want them; none of them is required. Nothing is merged or published until you say yes. The loop is four gestures: you write a ticket and move it to *Ready*; Ponos does it, in a Claude Code session on a disposable git worktree of its own — or a scratch directory, for a ticket with no repository; you read what came back and answer in a word, even from your phone; you move it to *Validated* and he merges the pull request or publishes the text, and only then calls it *Done*. What a ticket can be — its type decides the road, and an untyped ticket is classified first: code (a pull request), writing (a text written into the ticket), an external action (carried out in a browser or a service's settings, every change logged, stopped at the first doubt), a publication (a post, a site put online, a message sent — prepared, then published once you validate). Around them: recurring tickets from schedules, a chat with the machine in the console, and projects that are only a name and a brief — a GitHub link is cloned the first time a ticket needs it, no repository at all means the tickets come back as text. The board is the console and its folder of Markdown files (`storage.mode = "markdown"`), or Notion (`ponos init `), or both kept in step. A fresh configuration still says `notion`, and the installer asks for a Notion token first — Enter skips it. Python 3.11+, standard library only — no dependency to install, no build step. The repository, the command and the Python package are called ponos. ## Docs - [Landing page](https://cardona.digital/ponos/): what it is, the loop — the console filmed doing it —, the four kinds of task, the console, the integrations, installation without Notion - [Documentation](https://github.com/SalvadorCardona/ponos#readme): installation, the board and its columns, the types of ticket, the Validated column, recurring tickets, Telegram and Slack, the web console, the Markdown board, Notion, OpenRouter, several GitHub accounts, usage limits, configuration, safety, troubleshooting, Ponos the mascot - [Changelog](https://github.com/SalvadorCardona/ponos/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md): what changed, release by release
